How “Real” Ice Cream is made
Believe it or not most large ice cream manufactures started producing in a small lab like Llanfaes Dairy does. When the option comes to expand, Production is moved to a factory based environment where the product then becomes mass produced.
Quality over quantity.
Llanfaes ice cream is made the traditional way, all ingredients are mixed by hand, then poured into a batch freezer where the churning process begins. Once the ice cream has reached optimum temperature it is then transferred into pans, before being hand decorated ready to serve.
Having been producing artisan ice cream since 1997 with over 90 flavours to choose from the possibilities really are endless…
